Evelyn B. Miano
AIKEN - Evelyn B. Miano, 73, beloved wife of Phillip J. Miano, passed away on Monday morning, July 17, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joel and Eula Mae Baughman; daughter, Elizabeth Antoinette Miano; brother, Denzel Baughman (Hazel); and sister, Pearlie Herron.
A native of Aiken, SC, Evelyn graduated from Aiken High School, where she met the love of her life, Phillip. Evelyn served many generations of clients over her 50 years with H&R Block. She also provided outstanding accounting services to various businesses including the Gem Lakes Association over the last 30 years. Evelyn's main passion in life was spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Phillip; two daughters, Lisa Robinson (Bobby), Aiken, Anna Baker (Jonathan), Aiken; her son, Steve Miano (Angel), Edisto Beach; five grandchildren, Carole Ann Hopkins (David), Daniel Baker (Haley), Dalton Baker (Kiersten), Bobby Robinson (Kaylee), and Steven Miano; six great-grandchildren, Evelyn Hopkins, Easton Hopkins, Audrey Kate Hopkins, Bentley Baker, Dayton Baker, and Cohen Robinson. Her brothers, Eugene Baughman (the late Judy), Norman Baughman (Grace), Donnie Baughman (Regina), Wayne Baughman (Brenda); sisters Jeanette Widener (the late Gene), Lois Kelley (Gene), Eyvonne Benson (the late Ed), Wanda Tucker.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, July 21st from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Saturday morning, July 22nd at 10 o'clock at the funeral home. Pastor Wes Holbrook will officiate.
