Eva Perez Obituary

MISS EVA PEREZ
Miss Eva Perez, 99, beloved sister and aunt entered into the glory of her eternal life on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
A native and lifetime resident of Brownsville, Miss Perez was the owner/operator of the family business, La Perla Bakery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Manuel and Eva Perez; her step-mother, Ester A. Perez; her sisters, Amparo Ortiz and Infant Guadalupe Perez; and her brothers, Juan Manuel, Eliseo, Enrique, Jose, Andres, and Juan Perez.
Left behind to eternally treasure her memory is her sister, Guadalupe Perez; her nephew and caregiver, Rolando and his wife Maggie Martinez and their daughters, Gloria (Joe Bob) Walters and Elisa (Alex) Torres; her nieces Perla and her husband Raul Silva and Josefina and her husband Juan Villarreal. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that live across Texas and the country.
Visitation and a rosary service were held Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at Darling-Moser Funeral Home.
The Mass of Christian Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. today, Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 1055 Military Highway. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, 945 Palm Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78520 (956) 546-7111.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother. I used to go to the bakery when I was very young. I am the son of Adalberto Parra Sr. from Brownsville who has also passed away.
