Thought of you today, I pray you´re resting peacefully. I will always remember our time at Palm Beach Gardens. What feels like yesterday has already been almost 20yrs. I´m thankful I got the chance to be your friend. You were truly one of a kind.

Hello, my name is Matt and Eric aka "Bell" was one of my best friends at Florida State university. I just learned of his passing and my heart is hurting. I am truly at a loss of words but I felt compelled to leave a message here. I just want his family to know that he was very much loved by his friends at FSU. Eric was a welcomed addition at any social event that we attended. He was the type of guy who could get along with anyone, but more importantly, he was the type of guy who could bring people together. He was usually quiet and reserved, but he could be the life of the party if he chose to be. I could tell he loved his brothers very much. He admired and respected his big bro, while he simply adored his little bro.
ERIC, I love you man. I wish I had said it more. I know we drifted after college but you know that was only because we lived in different cities. I always, always, always imagined us being in each other's lives again someday. It breaks my heart that you are gone. Your passing has inspired me to be a better friend to those I still have, while I still can. Rest in peace my friend.
Love, Matty

My condolences to the Bell family. He was, is and will be missed greatly. I can honestly say I benefited from having him in my life if only for a short time.

Your son and brother was widely and wildly loved by his friends here in Dallas. Eric loved his family one and all, and was particularly proud of his younger brother. He was that quiet guy with the sharp wit. The guy with an infectious laugh. The guy who loved talking movies and music. The guy anyone would do anything for.
