Emily Berg Obituary
AIKEN - Miss Emily Viola Berg, 49, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022.
Miss Berg was born in Augusta, Georgia August 30, 1973. She lived most of her life in North Augusta, South Carolina. The last 15 years she resided at Tri-Development Center Dupont ICF in Aiken, SC. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church North Augusta and the Special Education Sunday School Class.
Emily, our forever child, never spoke a word. But her life spoke volumes to those who were impacted by her sweetness, innocence, and total dependence on others for her needs. For all the love, encouragement, and compassionate support from her church, neighbors, and the staff of Tri-Development Center of Aiken County the family will forever be grateful.
Survivors include her parents Curt and Joanne Berg; sister, Catherine Berg Sredzienski (Ed); brother, Curt Berg III (Molly); nephews, Evan, Oliver, Elliot, and Charlie.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Tri-Development Center P.O. Box 698 1016 Vaucluse Road Aiken South Carolina 29802.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at SHELLHOUSE FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. Roy Kiser officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
