Elaine Moody Obituary
Warrenville - Mrs. Elaine Moody, 60, of Warrenville, SC, entered into rest peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2017, with her family at her side.
A lifelong area resident, she was a daughter of the late Willie William and Dollie Maxine Brock Smith. She was a former employee of the Graniteville Company. Miss Elaine enjoyed playing Canasta, watching the Young and the Restless and anything to do with the water, such as going to the beach and lake.
In addition to her parents, family members include her children, Connie Frost Tilley and her companion, Paul Williams, Williston, SC, Herbie Moody, Warrenville, SC and Donna Moody McCarty and her husband, Dale, Aiken, SC; step-children, Donald O'Neal Moody, Jr and his wife, Melissa, Graniteville, SC and Shannon Maggay, Moncks Corner, SC; siblings, Joey D. Smith, Warrenville, SC, the late William Smith, Kenneth Smith and Laura Swearingen, fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, December 21, 2017, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017, at 11 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastor Clint Bartlett will officiate. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Bath, SC.
Memorials may be made to the MCG Children's Miracle Network.
