Elaine Heeman Obituary

Graniteville, SC – Elaine Ann Heeman, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on May 5th, 2025, at the age of 73. A resident of Graniteville, South Carolina. Elaine was born in Binghamton, New York February 20th, 1952, to the late Laurence Norton and Dorothy Fletcher, however being reared by Donna McClaud Norton whom she affectionally was known as "mom." She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Heeman; a brother, Laurence Norton Jr., Donald Norton; and three sisters, Dorthea Ross, Lois Bodie, and Laureen Auble.
Elaine worked as a cook at Bobby's Bar-B-Que located in Warrenville, South Carolina. She also loved to do arts and crafts and enjoyed fresh tomato sandwiches and picnics and spending time with family.
Elaine was a loving, warm, beautiful person and she leaves behind to cherish her legacy of love and devotion her daughter, Theresa Proffit; her son Brian (Joelle) Heeman; her sister Pat Hartshaw; and brother, Paul (Agnes) Norton along with ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
