Edward Ralph Thomas, Jr.
North Augusta - Mr. Edward Ralph Thomas, Jr., age 59, beloved husband for 35 years to Mrs. Melissa Payton Thomas, entered into rest on Wednesday January 13, 2021.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons, Matthew (Tina) Thomas, Dakotah (Kassie) Thomas; special nephew, Jeremy (Lindsey) Thomas; father, Edward Ralph, Sr. (Debra) Thomas; sister, Maggie (Jerrod) Hesson; brothers, Brian (Sarah) McCann, Eric (Sharon) McCann, Trey (Allison) Hays, Bobby (Michelle) Hays and Richie (Emily) Hays. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Evilyn (Jim)Hays; sisters, Melissa Williams and Sherry Thomas.
Mr. Thomas was a Distribution Supervisor for Allnex and a faithful member of Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville. He served in various positions at the church including: Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and served as a Deacon for many years. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched with his kind spirit.
A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday January 17, 2021 at 3pm at Christian Heritage Church with Pastors Stephen Phillips and Jonathan Randall officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until the time of the service at the church. Pallbearers will be: Paul Stribling, Steve Fulmer, Keith Jowers, Walter "Scrapper" Craig, Jim Kost and Keith Durden.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Christian Heritage Church at 285 Ascauga lake Road. Graniteville, SC 29829, in memory of Mr. Edward Ralph Thomas, Jr. Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the current pandemic, masks are encouraged for the visitation and funeral service by the church.
