Edward Stroman Obituary
COLUMBIA - Funeral services for Edward Murry Stroman will be held 2PM Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield, SC, with interment to follow at the church cemetery. The public may view from 1PM until the hour of service at the church on Saturday and also on Friday from 12-8PM at Palmer Memorial Chapel in Columbia.
Edward Murry Stroman, 84, transitioned on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Palmetto Richland Health. Born in Springfield, SC, he was a son of the late Milton and Clyde Tyler Stroman. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a former Chairman of the Trustee Board of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed by the University of South Carolina as a Brick Mason Supervisor until his retirement.
Surviving are his wife, Annie Stroman, of Columbia; 6 sons: Anthony Stroman, Everett (Pam) Stroman, Fitzgerald (Annette) Stroman, Darryl Stroman, Shelly (Lillie) Livingston, and Larry (Patrice) Seawright; 1 daughter, Robin Mayes; 14 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Stroman; and other relatives.
