Augusta, GA – Graveside Services for Edward Maxie Elliott, 92, who entered into rest October 20, 2025, will be conducted Friday morning at 11 o'clock in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Elder Garn S. Capps, Sr. officiating. Veterans Honors will be rendered by the United States Navy. Mr. Elliott was born October 25, 1932, in Bradley, Alabama to the late Grover and Clemmie Elliott. He served his country in the United States Navy. Mr. Elliott was a member of the Augusta Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In his younger years, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and taking road trips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Shannon Elliott and Patricia Beever; brother, Rayburn Elliott. Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Bowen, Elaine Elliott and Connie Kagler (Bob); grandchildren, Melissa Davenport (Madison), Melissa Banker (Quillen), Raven Elliott, Tristen Elliott, Dylan Price (Katie), Michael Beever (Lexi), Jason Coleman (Kameron) and Chelsea Barron (John); great-grandchildren, Willow, Tallulah, Lilian and Juniper; sisters, Pat Martin (Dean), Delores Peaden and Carolyn Elmore (Cecil).
