Eddie Prescott Obituary

With deepest and profound sympathy, we announced the transition of Mr. Eddie Cordell Prescott who entered into rest August 19, 2025.
Mr. Prescott attended the Public Schools of Edgefield and Aiken Counties. He was an employee for Pizza Hut.
Survivors include his mother, Darlene Prescott Latimore; his father, Eddie Lee Thurmond; a sister, Celeste Smith; five brothers, Quentin Price, Terrell Price, Eddie Lee Thurmond, Jr., Demarcus Cook and Christopher Cook; aunts, Melissa Prescott, Lula (Delvin) Berry, Margaret Thurmond and Mary Thurmond Wilson; uncles, Charlie (Tiffany) Prescott, Jr., Paul (Ebonica) Prescott, Rev. Kenneth (Benita) Thurmond, George (Annette) Thurmond, Curtis (Joni) Thurmond, Joseph Thurmond, Lewis Thurmond and Luther Thurmond; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 29, 2025 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Thurmond officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, North Augusta. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
