Eathion Mayers Obituary
Graniteville, SC - Mr. Eathion Mayers 80 of 149 Pine Street, Graniteville, SC, died Thursday, May 1, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Providence AME Church 701 Meadowlark Road, Little Mountain, SC. Burial will be in church cemetery.
Mr. Mayers was born in Newberry, SC, he was the son the late Julious and Rose Devault Mayers. He was a member of Providence AME Church.
Mr. Mayers is survived by his wife, Maudeine Jeff Mayers, of the home, one son, Tomy Mayers, San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Donna Cochran (Dan), Piscataway, NJ; step-son, Cade Townsend III; step-daughter, Angela Townsend; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, three brothers, Hayward Roger Mayers, Regina, Ohio, Charles Mayers, Elizabeth, NJ and Edward Wheeler of Little Mountain, SC; one sister, Annie Mae Mayers, Montclair, NJ; two sisters-in-law, Minnie Lee Jeff, Graniteville, SC and Bessie Alice Mayers, Elizabeth, NJ and other relatives and friends.
Wilson Funeral Home 64, Boundary Street, Newberry, SC in charge of arrangements and Miller's Funeral Home 136 Kershaw Street SE Aiken, SC is in charge of local arrangements.
