Dwayne Lawson Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Dwayne Edward Lawson, 55, of Aiken, SC, passed peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, March 18th.
Dwayne was born in Gastonia, NC on April 29th, 1961. He was a graduate of Clover High School.
Dwayne married his soulmate, Tammie, on March 13th, 1993 and they were blessed to recently celebrate 24 wonderful years of marriage.
Dwayne was an avid hunter and fisherman and could be found every Saturday during the Fall watching his National Champion Clemson Tigers take the football field. Dwayne was also devoted to serving God and actively involved in his church.
Dwayne's memorial celebration will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 26th at Cedar Creek Church. Services will be officiated by Dwayne's pastor Phillip Lee. Visitation with the family will be held following services.
Dwayne is survived by his loving wife Tammie, his mother Joann White, his children April (Jody) Dunlap, Trey (Danielle) Rippy, Tiffany (John) Miller & Lindsey (Travis) May, and his grandchildren Joshua & Mikaylah Dunlap, Kaylee Rippy & Camryn Miller.
Dwayne is preceded in death by his father, Don Lawson.
The family of Dwayne Lawson wishes to thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of love and support.
Dwayne was a family man and cherished every moment with them. He recently said, "I've been called a lot of things in my life, but Paw Paw is my favorite."
