Aiken - Dr. Gene Redd, widower of Lillian Harris Redd, entered eternal rest Wednesday, December 31 ,2025 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Jessamine Memorial Gardens, 625 Allison St., Aiken, SC with Rev. TC Edwards, officiating. People discovered their own talents by playing instruments and having confidence in themselves to perform in various activities. When Dr. Redd retired, he continued extending his care for people by serving as a school crossing guard, a court bailiff and even a supporter of the local authorities. My heart goes out to the Redd and Harris Families on the passing of their dear loved one. May God bless and find comfort in your memories. Dr. Redd was my first piano teacher and the "unforgettable slumber parties" host for his music students. Rest in peace gentle soul. We will see you on the other side.
