Doris Parks Obituary
Doris was born in Augusta, GA on May 3, 1943, to the late Carswell Rufus and Loretta Radford Williams and was a lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in English. She influenced young minds through her career as a teacher for over 20 years. Doris enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by those who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her sister, Carolyn Scott.
Surviving members of the family left to cherish her memory include her son, William Patrick (Renira T.) Parks; a daughter, Debbie Thompson; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Grant and Dean Alan (Miranda) Parks; and four great-grandchildren, Avery Grace Burton, Owen Parks, Scarlett Parks and Penelope Parks.
