Doris Brown Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Mrs. Doris Holston Brown, age 74, widow of Curtis Brown, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at Amara Health Care, Augusta, GA. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Thankful Grove Baptist Church, 1810 Old Barnwell Rd., Windsor, SC 29856 (Viewing 12 Noon until 1 PM) with Rev. Freddie L. Bush officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include: her daughter, Sharon Holston Spann (Gregory Lewis); sons, Curtis Brown, Jr. and Ronnie Brown; her sister, Vivian Holston; Six brothers, Robert
(Lillie) Holston, Sr., Elbert (Mary) Holston, Jr., Harry "Pete" (Ruth) Holston,
Roosevelt (Emma) Holston, James W. (Carol) Holston and Wyman Holston. 3 Grandchildren; 3 Great-grandchildren; other relatives.
Friends may call the residence of her daughter, Sharon Holston Spann, 302 Northgate Circle, her granddaughter, Kimberly Nero, 1506 Wyman St or JACKSON-BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, 126 Fairfield Street, SE, Aiken, SC @803 649 6123 beginning 3 PM Tuesday.
