Donnie Gregory
Aiken - Entered into rest Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Mr. Donnie Gregory age 77, beloved husband of 30 years of Mrs. Frances Wood Gregory and son the late Mr. John Clinton Gregory and the late Mrs. Lula Mae Corley Gregory.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Unity Holiness Church with Pastor Robbie Sharpe officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Park.
Mr. Gregory was a native and a lifelong resident of Aiken County and retired from Kroger in the Seafood Department after many years of service He was an avid reader of the newspaper weather it was here at home or visiting somewhere else. Mr. Gregory attended Unity Holiness Church.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Robin (Tom) Kelley, Ocala, FL; two brothers, Warnell Gregory, Graniteville, Clifford (Penny) Gregory, Clearwater; two sisters, Gertie (Tom) Holmer, Aiken, Myrtie Ashley, Aiken; two grandchildren, Rosie, and Timmy Kelley. Mr. Gregory was predeceased by two brothers, Odell Gregory, Lynwood Gregory; three sisters, Grace Toole, Maggie Seeby, Lucille Key.
Pallbearers will be John Ashley, John Wendt, David Willing, Robbie Willing, Charles Wendt, and Toliver Wendt.
Memorials may be made to Unity Holiness Church Building Fund, 1615 Edgefield Highway, Aiken, SC, 29801.
A visitation with the family will take place 6-8 pm this evening, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY (118 BY PASS) AIKEN, SC, 29801. 803-648-7175.
