Donell Brown Obituary

Graniteville, SC – A Celebration of Life for Donell Maurie Brown, Jr., 34, who entered into rest July 31, 2025, will be held Friday evening from 5 until 7 at Posey Funeral Directors. Donell was born July 20, 1991, in Orangeburg, SC to Donell Brown, Sr. and Stephanie Banks. He graduated from Midland Valley High School. Donell loved the outdoors, especially fishing. He enjoyed all things anime, playing video games, but most of all enjoyed time with his kids and the youth that he connected with as part of his job with and volunteering for the Family Y organization in the CSRA. Survivors include his wife, Becca; mother, Stephanie Banks; father, Donell Brown, Sr.; daughter, Maiah Byars; two sons, Amari Byars and Kota Brown; brother Derian Banks.
