Donald Padgett Obituary
RIDGE SPRING - Funeral Service for Donald Webb Padgett, 64, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Burial will follow at West Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Born in Batesburg, he was a son of Mary R. and the late Don Denver Padgett. He was a graduate of Charleston Southern University, obtained his Masters from Southern Wesleyan University, and pursued a PhD from the University of Colorado. Donald retired from Savannah River Site as a Biologist and was currently employed by SC DHEC. He was a proud Clemson Fan, was a member of IPTAY for 46 years, and the B-L Masonic Lodge #138.
Surviving are his wife, Robin Kneece Padgett; daughter, Melissa P. (Josh) Ott; his mother; brother, Kenny (Sharon) Padgett; sisters, Eleanor (Bill) Bradley, Gina (Curt) Deming, Ann (Larry) Bourland; 4 grandchildren, Noah, Nathan, Nichols, and Nina Ray Ott.
