Don was the quintessence of a southern gentleman. His quick wit and subtle sense of humor made conversation a lasting joy. He and Ernestine raised three fine sons on whom their parenting skills were not wasted. He will be remembered with fondness for generations to come.

I have only recently learned of the ad loss of Don Law. I knew Don well as I was a distant cousin of his. He and Ernestine reached out to me and my family when we moved to Aiken. Don was a gifted scholar whose kindness and personality, to paraphrase the Book of Books, made the heart glad. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your Dad. He was a fine man. And I know you were so proud to call him your father. I didn't know Ernestine had passed earlier, I know you all feel such loss. Remembering you and wishing you strength and love.

One of the first people I remember from growing up was Don Law..He and your mother were friends of my mothers since Orangeburg and remained so until her death. I will always cherish my friendship with Mr. Law and send deepest sympathy.
