Lenwood Fulmer
AIKEN, SC - Mr. Donald "Don" Lenwood Fulmer, 79, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Houndslake Country Club from 2-4 PM. Burial will be private.
A lifelong resident of Aiken, Don was a son of the late Quiller Jutson and Lucy Lott Fulmer. He was in the grocery store business with his brother Jut for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Baird Fulmer; daughter, Vancie (Bruce) Drew, Montmorenci, SC; a son, Donald Paul (Tonya) Fulmer, Aiken; six grandchildren, Matt Fulmer, Brandon Fulmer, DeAnna Brunk, Wrayne Vasser and Marshall and Jerrica Tyler; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda Schnackenberg, Columbia, SC; a brother, Robert L. Fulmer, Aiken and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or Aiken's First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 3157, Aiken, SC 29802.

I grew up at the Piggly Wiggly, literally and would not have wanted to
grow up anywhere else! Not because I enjoyed necessarily the work but I enjoyed being raised by Don and Jut. BT Shealy got me the job but I managed to keep it. I am rarely in Aiken anymore but I fondly remember those years with your family. Sorry for your loss but may the memories keep you comforted.

Just the other day I was thinking about Donny and how you all were doing. I still remember you all bringing me home after Clemson Games and working at the store with him and Jut Jr. and Aunt Lucy. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

I worked for Don for several years, he was always kind, friendly and fair. I remember fondly the time I was there. Years later I got to play golf with him and Jut in the church group. What a gentleman, I will miss him.
