Debra Diane Fields Collins
CLEARWATER - Mrs. Debra Diane Fields Collins, 58, of Clearwater, SC, wife of Mr. Steven W. "Steve" Collins, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
A lifelong area resident, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Nellie Jean Fields. Following her graduation from High School, she went to work for the Graniteville Company. She had also previously been an Insurance Agent and a Dental Hygienist. Most importantly, she was a wife and mother. Diane was a member of Heights Church. She enjoyed camping, beach trips and of course shopping. A very kind and caring person, Diane often put the needs of others before those of her own.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children and their spouses, April P. and Morgan Thompson, North Augusta, SC, Kevin S. Proctor, Warrenville, SC, Matthew S. and Bri Collins, North Augusta, SC, Stephanie L. and Derrick Buchanan, Walhalla, SC and James W. and Kayla Collins, Walhalla, SC; siblings, Stephen "Steve" Fields and his wife, Teresa, Gloverville, SC and Allen Fields, Trenton, SC and eleven grandchildren.
The family will greet friends on Sunday, January 21, 2018, from 5 until 7 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018, at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, with Pastor Mark Canipe officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
