I've known David for 40 something years when I was a cop in Aiken and we always had respect for each other. He was always nice to me and I treated him with respect too like so many people in Aiken. He was a nice person, RIP my friend.

My deepest condolences to the Paige family

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the entire Paige family and to all of David's Friends. I used to work for David at the carpet shop many years ago, but he has never gone forgotten. Fond memories of David have come to me over the years and when I heard of his passing, I was deeply saddened. I can just see his thoughtful grin (thinking..he was ALWAYS thinking! :) ) and hear him chuckle while they sing 'Happy Birthday' to him up in Heaven today! If we happened to hear a little rumble of thunder during the day, I'm sure that will only be David's laughter. May God keep and bless you all.
