David Barton Obituary

David L. "Brother" Barton
Columbia - David L. "Brother" Barton, age 87, a native of Graniteville, SC passed away on Wednesday November 15, 2023 in Lexington, SC. He is preceded in death by his parents, David Samuel and Gertie Mae Garrick Barton and his sister, Betty Barton. He is survived by his dear friends, John Faulkner and Lila Tyler, and many others.
Mr. Barton worked for Graniteville Company in the Print Shop. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Graniteville and was a well known member of the community. He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.
A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Tuesday November 28, 2023 at 12pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home. The interment to follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. Friends will be greeted in visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Napier Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with these arrangements.
