Danny Rinehart Obituary
Aiken - Danny F. (Dan) Rinehart died Sunday, November 21, 2021 at home surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer.
Dan was born on July 9, 1946 in Madison, Wisconsin to Isom and Margaret Harris Rinehart Brethorst. He is survived by Elizabeth (Betsy) Rinehart, step-son Eric Martin (Tanya), step-daughter Keira Murphy (Gary), granddaughters Kendall Martin Thanos and Morgan Martin, grandsons Matthew, Kevin, and Liam Murphy, nephew John Bollig and niece Peggy Bollig.
He was predeceased by his parents, step-father Clyde Brethhorst, and sister, Alice Bollig Green.
Dan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and spent most of his career as a manufacturers representative in the machine tool industry. His greatest pride was founding Rinehart's Sporting Goods in Historic Downtown Aiken in 1992.
Dan will be remembered for his love of his family and friends, his infectious laugh and his sense of humor.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
