I just learned of Danny's passing, and am so sorry to hear this news. R.I.P. Danny!
I hope the entire family lets the fond memories of Danny get them through this time of loss.

Vicky, Zach, Tanner, Foxy and Michael... We are so sorry for your loss. He fought the battle for a long time. I wish he could have been here for at least a few more weeks to be able to accept the 1st Hall of Fame Athletic Award presented at LCHS. When he was up here at Mike's or the races, Hunter and Peyton loved listening to his "usually" pretty funny tales and jokes. We'll miss him a lot..Ruthie, Bobboy and Chris

My condolences to the entire Furr Family. I was so looking forward to seeing him in person this weekend as he was in the inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame class of Loudoun County High School. During County's run in basketball where they would finish 3rd in the state, I was a 5 year old kid who loved watching him play. He was in the same high school class as my sister. Next thing I know he was putting me on his shoulders after every County win. I will never forget it.

Vicky, Zach, Tanner & Fuzzy, I just heard yesterday and my heart is broken. He was one of a kind, my days working with him at De Park were never without his humor and stories of his boys. We had some amazing times, he took me to have my wisdom teeth out and was enjoying me not being able to talk!!! I just love him, God Bless you all and my thoughts are with you!

I use to look forward to my time in the stands together with Danny stop watches at the ready watching our boys run. The “wish I had a horse like that” or “I think his shoes loose” and other comments always made me laugh. Vicky, Zach and Tanner you have my deepest sympathies.

We were so sorry to hear about Danny.....we lost a good man and a dear friend....we have some good memories from Aiken and New York. Danny was a huge asset to Mack Millers success.

Vicki I'm so sorry about Danny. He was a wonderful guy and lucky enough to have you and those two boys that made him so proud! I'll always remember the gleam in his eye when he talked about Zack and Tanner. And when I asked about you he would say "oh Cary she's as mean as ever." He was a sweet man and will be missed by all that we're lucky enough to know him.
