Dan Iverson passed away peacefully at his home in Gilbert, South Carolina, on April 16, 2025. Born on April 28, 1953, in Erie, Pennsylvania, Dan brought light, laughter, and ingenuity to every corner of his life.
In 1980, Dan relocated to Aiken, South Carolina, where he began a remarkable 45-year career as an engineer at the Savannah River Site. His work was more than a job - it was a lifelong passion that reflected his deep curiosity and talent for building and understanding complex systems.
After retiring, Dan and his beloved wife settled by the shores of Lake Murray. There, he spent countless hours in his shop, surrounded by the classic cars he adored.
Dan will be remembered not only for his technical brilliance but for his boundless enthusiasm for life, his unwavering love for family, and his warm, generous spirit. Anyone who met him recognized his sharp mind and his joy in sharing knowledge, always ready to lend a hand or solve a problem.
He is survived by his wife, two loving children, and four cherished grandchildren, who will carry forward his legacy of creativity, integrity, and dedication.
