Cynthia 'Cindy' Kirk
AIKEN - Mrs. Cynthia "Cindy" Smith Kirk, 63, of Aiken, SC, wife of James H. "Jim" Kirk, entered into rest on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
A lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC and a 1976 graduate of LBC High School, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Bennett, Sr. and Ida Mae Widener Smith. She was a former Insurance Agent with Hudson Etheridge and the Starnes Agency. Cindy was a member of Aiken's First Baptist Church, where she was active in her Sunday School Class. She enjoyed collecting dolls. A kind and caring person, she was known for sending people she cared about cards.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Jason Fields, Warrenville, SC and the late Sarah Finnegan, a step-daughter and her husband, Brittany and Jimmy LeBert, Aiken, SC; siblings and their spouses, Theresa and Fred Ennis, Gloverville, SC, Veronica and Bob Honeck, Rayle, GA, Melissa and Neal Moody, Graniteville, SC and the late Keith Smith, grandchildren, O'Ryas and Riker Thrower, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021, at 11 o'clock in the Sanctuary of Aiken's First Baptist Church. Pastor John Carroll will officiate.
