Cindy Owens Obituary

North Augusta, SC – Graveside Services for Cindy Owens, 60, who entered into rest July 15, 2025, will be conducted Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Father Joseph Shippen officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. Mrs. Owens was born on November 24, 1964, in Augusta, GA to Charles and Pamela Jenkins. Cindy was the long-time floral manager at the North Augusta Kroger; she loved her job and was the warm friendly smile that shoppers saw when they first entered the store. She loved animals, especially her cat, "Smokey Pokey". Cindy enjoyed flower gardening, shopping and taking care of her grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Jackson Jenkins and grandson, Jackson Sheppard. Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie Owens; mother, Pamela Jenkins Yoder; grandson, Carson Sheppard; sisters, Debbie Rothley (Rob) and Jennifer Creswell (Matt); niece, Reagan Creswell; nephews, Matthew Creswell and Cameron Rothley. Memorials may be made to the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Rd NE, Aiken, SC 29801.
