Christine Plunkett Wilson
GRANITEVILLE, SC - Mrs. Christine Plunkett Wilson, age 82, beloved wife of Clarence "Bobby" Wilson, entered into eternal rest in the comfort of her home on Saturday, July 4, 2015.
Born in Aiken, S.C. and a lifelong resident of Graniteville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Purvis and Agnes Plunkett.
She was the beloved mother of Vicky Jackson, Robin Wilson, Sally Wilson and Tina (Keith) Steelman and sister of Wayne Plunkett, Rosalee Bennett and the late Nona Yonn.
She was the grandmother of Clancie (Lee) Wicker, John (Kim) Wilson, Rebecca (Charles) Randolph, Carrie (Ricky) Hicks, Abby (Mark) Messick and Dana (Perry) Allen, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and the aunt of several nieces and nephews.
She was a woman of strong faith in the Lord and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. "Her children called her blessed and her husband also, and he praises her." She has finished life's journey and is now at peace with her Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at the Vaucluse Cemetery in Vaucluse, S.C. with Rev. Charlie Kelley officiating.
