CHRISTINE GUFFEY Obituary

GUFFEY, CHRISTINE TRENTHAM - age 84, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014. She was a member of the Knoxville Baptist Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam E. Guffey; sons, Ronnie and David Guffey; parents, Lonnie and Mary Trentham; brothers, Conley and Melvin Trentham; and sister, Betty Jo Hopkins. Survivors: daughter, Brenda Guffey Ownby; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Becky Guffey; grandchildren, Jill Ownby Smith and husband Todd, Kelly Guffey McNeill and husband Paul, Nathan Guffey and wife Carolyn, Jeran Guffey and wife Jennifer; great grandchildren, Lindsay and Noah Smith, Mackenzie, Madden, Mylan, Sampson, and Lochlan Guffey; brother and sister-in-law, Ira and Polly Trentham; special family member, Linda Nations. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Friday with funeral service following at 7:30 p.m. in Atchley's Seymour Chapel with Rev. Tony Green and Rev. James Fenoglio officiating.
