Christine Chisolm Obituary
AIKEN - Mrs. Christine Louise Chavous Chisolm, daughter of Alvoyd W. and Florine Minor Chavous, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Saturday, May 20, 2023 at St Mark Baptist Missionary Baptist Church, 1400 Gray Mare Hollow Rd, Aiken, SC (Viewing from 12-1 PM) with Rev. Wayne Abney, Officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Mark Church Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Levi (Pappy) Chisolm, her parents, her eldest son Clyde W. Chisolm, and a son in law, Curtis A. Jeffries. She leaves to cherish many memories: her loving children, Eric S. (Evangeline) Chisolm, CRNA Douglas G. (Saundra) Chisolm, F. Leslie Jeffries, and Dr. Steven L. Chisolm; ten grandchildren, Jamal and Sita Chisolm, Ida Fenner, Christopher Johnson, Jordan and Adam Chisolm, Devin and Maya Jeffries, Alessandra and Marissa Chisolm; fifteen great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren; and a host of many dear loving cousins and friends in the church and community; and her pet dog, Mr. Lee. The family will receive friends at 1230 Gray Mare Hollow Rd or Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home, 126 Fairfield St, SE, Aiken, South Carolina 29801 803 649 6123 Friday from 5-7 PM.
