Christine Allen Obituary
AIKEN - Mrs. Christine D. Allen, age 62, of 112 Fellowship Lane, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Cumberland A.M.E. Church (Viewing 10-11 AM). Burial will follow in Jessamine Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Allen leaves to celebrate and cherish her memory, her husband of 46 years, John H. Allen; one daughter, Deloris (Robert) Hayes; two sons, Hosea (Kimmerie) Allen and Chico (Valerie) Allen; three sisters, Jacquelyn (Reginald) Johnson, Ellen Bussey, and Jennifer Dawkins; four brothers, Randolph (Kitty) Bussey, Ronald Bussey, Samuel Bussey Jr, and Terry Dawkins; six grandchildren, Chico Allen, Daniel Allen, David Allen, Gabrielle Hayes, Jeremy Hayes and Vaughn Allen; four loving aunts, four brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, Dorothy Allen; stepmother, Netter Dawkins; a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and sorrowing friends.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Monday.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss, Christine was a truly special person. After many years, I recently ran into her and John shopping. I will never forget the time we shared in conversation. I am so sorry to hear that Christine has passed on. I remember her from Aiken Jr. High school. I worked with her sister in law at piggly wiggly groceries on York street and she use to tell me her and John were made for each other. I am saddened because she was such a great person. My heart is with the family.
