Charles Lewis Obituary
AIKEN - Mr. Charles "Bumble Bee" Lewis, age 55, of 6018 Meadow Drive, Ft. Wayne, IN, formerly of Aiken entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Lutheran Health Hospital, Ft. Wayne, IN surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at St. John Baptist Church (Viewing 12-1 PM), 286 Huber Clay Rd, Warrenville, SC with Rev. Dr. Curtis Blocker, Pastor and Rev. Paul H. Bush, Eulogist. Burial will follow in Pine Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Charles was preceded in death; by his mother, Ola Page; while leaving to cherish his memory: his parents, John H. Page and Henrietta L. Lawrence; two daughters, Krysten Lewis and India Phillips; three sons, Khalen, Kristopher, and Kamron Lewis; four sisters, Rev. Michelle P. Bush, (Rev. Paul), Sabina P. Craig, Lisa Williams, and Angelina Lewis; seven brothers, Shaun Page (Linda), John F. Page (Venessa), Marquis Page, Michael Lewis, Rev. Curtis Blocker (Phyllis), Tony Williams, Bryan Barnes, and Jantzen Watson (Nephew who was like a brother); other relatives and loving friends.
Charles attended Aiken High School. He served in the U.S. Marines, a Combat Veteran of Desert Storm. Charles worked for the Federal Prison System in Youngstown, Ohio. Upon his death, he was employed by General Motors in Fort Wayne, IN.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-7 PM.
Friends may call JACKSON-BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, 126 Fairfield St. SE, Aiken, SC 29801 from 3-8 PM Friday.
