Charles T. Heath
AIKEN - Charles T. Heath, (1938-2022), a lifelong resident of Aiken County, entered into rest at his home on September 1, 2022. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, his beloved wife of over Sixty-Four years, Marie L. Rollins Heath (Marie was his childhood sweetheart and the girl next door); their beloved son, Dr. Charles (Chuck) Heath, Jr. M.D.; his parents, Redmond Heath and Annie Busbee Heath Moore; siblings, Doris Grace Heath, Harvey Heath, and Kay Frances Wall; Surviving are his sons, Scott Heath (Barbie), Craig Heath (Beverly); granddaughters he adored, Caroline Heath and Chaney Heath; and siblings, Rosa Lee Franklin Settle (Mike), Shelvia Beard (Curtis); Redmond Heath (Frances).
After retiring from the family business, Aiken Pest Control, Inc., that he and Marie established in 1967, he served as a consultant of the Company, which is now operated by their sons, Scott and Craig. Over the years, as owner of Aiken Pest Control, he acquired the nickname of "Termite". Charles, a well-known and beloved Aikenite was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Aiken Shrine Club. He will always be remembered as a man of solid faith in His Lord, who cared deeply for his family. His life was well-lived, selfless and he was always hospitable and willing to help others. Throughout his lifetime, he and Marie enjoyed their family, fishing, and dancing, and after they retired, they took great pleasure in traveling with friends.
The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at George Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. in The George Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Catoe officiating. Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Wright, Chris Page, Chris Busch, Ronnie Golding, Jimmy Golding, and William Sojo. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Golding, Larry Golding, and past and present Aiken Pest Control associates and team members.
There will be a reception at Newberry Hall for refreshments and fellowship following the interment.
Scott and Craig would like to say a special thank you to Betty, Janet, Yirlania, Abigail, Jen, Becky, William, Alexandra and the countless friends and family members that cared for their mom and dad these last 2 years. You all are truly special and appreciated more than you will ever know.

Craig and Scott:

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Father. I remember working with him for many years and he was a wonderful man. He was also a "Pillar of the Pest Control Industry" and will be sorely missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you both and to the entire Heath clan.
