CHARLES HEATH Obituary

I just found this, and I am so sad to hear of Dr. Heath's passing. This man literally saved my life. I know this is a common saying, but he really did. After surviving 3 suicide attempts and a raging addiction, he listened - really listened - to me. Thus began my road to recovery and well-being. It has been 13 years and I sing his praises to anyone who will listen. To his family, I thank you.

I miss you so much, you were my Dr. for over 8 year's, you became so much more I wish Mark & family all God's love and embrace. I am so sad. I hold you in my heart

Chuck was very respected at Kaiser Permanente. God bless Mark and the Heath family.

How I know the Angels are dancing in Heaven with Chuck in their company . What a wonderful,, giving person with a heart of gold . I got to know chuck both as a friend and client . He always had the brightest smile on his face - it would light up any room . I'm so sad that his spirit left us so soon - I am sending love to his family , friends and most of all his Life Partner Mark . Know that you are loved and supported in our community and beyond .

I am fortunate to have known Chuck - both as a colleague and a friend. He was a genuinely good man, loving husband, and compassionate physician. He had a keen mind, infectious laugh, and huge heart. Chuck touched and improved so many lives in his all too brief time on this earth. He will be deeply missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mark, and with your families. I was blessed to have had the privilege of working with Dr. Heath at Three Rivers and in outpatient private practice upon completing my residency. He was a caretaker to his core, and I will never forget how he nurtured and supported me in my nascent years as a psychiatrist. VERY saddened to hear of his passing. It is with deep regrets we learned of the passing of Chuck. A wonderful man and physician, he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones and friends. I worked with Dr. Heath on the adolescent unit at 3Rivers. While the work was challenging, he ALWAYS found the good in the situations presented to us. Shared many laughs; and, I always enjoyed his stories! We have lost one beautiful person both inside and out....Thank you for sharing your expertise and helping many individuals and families.

I have good memories of fun times with you and Chuck when you lived in Columbia - how many times you invited me to eat in your home, swim in your pool, travel to the beach with you...many, many good times with good friends that will never be forgotten. I was shocked to hear of Dr. Heath passing. I learned a lot working with him when he was the medical director at Three Rivers Behavioral Health.

My sincere condolences to Mark and the entire Heath family. Chuck was a kind and generous man. He was an accomplished, bright colleague and friend who loved to share, go to the ocean and to dance. While it is difficult to celebrate the loss of this gifted man, he would no doubt want us to indeed celebrate his life and all the goodness he so freely shared. My heart weeps to know his contagious kindness and knowledge has departed our lives. My prayers are with Mark and his family.
