CHARLES HAHN Obituary
Hahn, Sr.
GREENSBORO, NC - Charles B. "Chuck" Hahn, 92, passed away at Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Greensboro, North Carolina, on February 16, 2017. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1924, and was a World War II Army veteran and a Korean War Navy veteran. Chuck attended Louisiana State University and was retired from his teaching position at Aiken Technical College in Aiken, South Carolina.
Chuck was a long time resident of the North Augusta, South Carolina, area and was very active as a Free Mason, including leadership roles in the Acacia Lodge, North Augusta.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 71 years, Nannie Estelle Hahn, his sons Charles B. Hahn, Jr., of Greensboro, North Carolina, and William S. Hahn, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, by six grandchildren, and by eight great-grandchildren.

I have missed Chuck and Estelle ever since they left North Augusta. For some reason Chuck took me under his wing at the lodge after I joined and mentored me. When Jewell and I met his wife Estelle, they formed an immediate friendship. Well done though Good and Faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of the Lord. Praying for the family for comfort and peace.

May the Lord bless you all, more especially during this time. Chuck was a great help to me as I began my Masonic travels, and we have missed having him in our supper club.

Dear Mrs. Hahn, Chuck, Bill and Family,
We are so sorry to learn of Mr. Hahn's passing.
Many fond memories of the early 60s in N. Augusta-Mr. Hahn letting Chuck and I borrow the car to go to the Augusta Library to "study." The new "stereo" console in the living room, where Mr. Hahn put on a vinyl record of music and we could actually "follow" the sound as it moved from the left speaker to the right speaker! Good times growing up.

My Dad's passing has generated a lot of wonderful memories of him during my childhood, adolescence and well into adulthood - he was a good man, a loving husband, and a great father to my brother and me.
