Charlene Graffia Obituary

Charlene Aubert Graffia, 63, of New Orleans left her kitchen on Saturday April 12, 2014. Charlene was a loving mother of her only son Ryan Graffia and Daughter-in-law, Jessica Graffia. Charlene also leaves the love of her life, best friend and Sous Chef William P. Graffia aka "Willie P", Peter Dick, Willie, "WilburP", and !?@# (expletive). Charlene also leaves various friends that she grew up with in the 9th ward but the one that stands out the most and was still in contact with is her friend Pat Fabra whom she dearly loved and considered her sister. Charlene is preceded in death by her parents; Joe & Tina Aubert, brother; Raymond Aubert and aunt; Claire Brotmeyer. Charlene is survived by spouse; William P. Graffia, Son; Ryan Graffia, Daughter-in-law; Jessica Graffia, Sister; Kathleen Hart, Brother-in-law; Terry Hart, Aunt; Marie Keith, Niece; Melissa Hart, and Nephew; Jeffrey Hart. Charlene was director of operations for the Graffia household which included an assortment of daily responsibilities including housekeeping, accounting, banking, psychiatry, detective, nurse, interior designer, and the list goes on. But the one thing that she truly loved is cooking which she executed with finesse and love. You will be forever missed.
