AIKEN, SC - Mrs.
Charity Bussey Smith, 81, of 941 Old Jordan Road passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 815 Murrah Road, North Augusta, SC 29860. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She will lie in state from 1PM - 2PM.
Mrs. Smith leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, Charity (Henry) Henderson and Brenda Friday; one son, David (Patricia) Hunter; one sister,
D'Addis Key; one daughter-in-law, Dorothy Ann Smith; seventeen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren, and host of other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home to assist with funeral costs.
