Cecil Craig Obituary

Beech Island – Mr. Cecil M. Craig, 85, of Beech Island, SC, known to everyone as "Bubba Craig", entered into rest in the comfort of his home, on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
A lifelong area resident, he was a son of the late Cecil C. and Maebelle Smith Craig. He retired from the Carpenters Local Union #283. Bubba Craig enjoyed fishing, riding around checking on folks and of course a scratch off lottery ticket.
In addition to his parents, family members include his children and their spouses, Kathy and Wayne Dooley, Langley, SC, Connie and George Thompson, North Augusta, SC, Mike and Melissa Craig, Beech Island, SC, Lisa and Billy Russell, Aiken, SC, the late Tommy Craig and the late Donna Craig, a brother, Pastor Roland Smith and his wife, Peggy, Warrenville, SC; nine grandchildren, as well as several great and great-great-grands.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastors Roland Smith and Dexter Lambert will officiate. Interment will follow in the Langley Cemetery, Langley, SC. Pallbearers will be Billy Russell, Brandon Reeves, Anthony Reeves, Eddie Moore, Matt Goodwin and Dallas Burton.
