It has been 9 long years without you! I want to call you and tell you things and I can not. My mom misses you so much and wishes she could take you places now that she retired and has more free time. If there is a heaven I hope that you welcomed Tina with open arms. Your absence has left an unreplacable gap in our hearts.

I thought about you and daddy dancing in heaven to your song on your anniversary march 12. We were going to go to Cheyenne Wyoming at this time. You said you wanted to go because of hell on wheels building the train tracks through there. That was what was in your red Christmas gift you didn't get to open. Some day I'll have to go and tell you about it. I love and miss you both

I have so many things to tell you. I just dropped Cort off for snow camp last time you went with me to pick him up from summer camp and I missed your presence. I miss it daily. I can't call you daily and it feels terrible.

Every day me and the boys talk about you... I wish I could call you on my way home from work ;(

To all the Coreys my heartfelt prayers to you for such a sad loss. She was a true friend since 4th grade. I could always count on a letter at Christmas and birthdays (our mutual birthdays 6/17) keeping me up with her growing family. She set a wonderful example for all of us in faithfulness and love. So here is my love to you Leslie, your girls, and your amazing grandbabies. Keep passing that love on- to one another-and to those we have yet to meet.

May the memories that you have made with this wonderful women comfort you in this time of sadness. Always know that she is now an angel watching over you all.

Heart aches with the sudden loss of Carol. Her legacy lives on in the love you all share and as long as you hold tight to the memories. She is now watching over and protecting you. She was a matriarch in the best sense and it is evident in how you all loved each other. Grateful for her impact on my life and her including me as part of the family. Prayers for you.

I love you Papa and thank you for loving me as I am. I will miss bringing you grilled cheese sandwiches and strawberry shakes, one of your favorites. I will miss your kind words (via) text and cards and most of all I'll miss the love you showed me from Day 1 til the end. See you when I get there Papa, I'll be the one with the Turkey hat on.

To the fanilies of a very special MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, AND GREAT GRANDMOTHER Carol/Papa will certainly be missed. What a wonderful person who I was blessed to have met and be in her company. I AM SO SAD

Carol reminds me of a former beauty queen the way she carried herself. There was never a strand of hair out of place, her lips were always pink and nails groomed and painted. She leaves behind a legacy of strong women starting with Leslie McGee.

Dear Leslie and Family, So sorry for the loss of your lovely Mom/Grandma. I remember her as always hardworking, kind and generous and very welcoming. My special memory of her is at dollar night at the A's games (many years ago). Always a fun night out with the Cory family!

My heart is with you all today! Carol was an honorary DMC Pinole gal & will be missed?? Glad we got to chat one last time at the ornament exchange.

I have lost my best friend, my shopping and travel partner, my phone counselor on the way to and from work, my daughter"a and grandson"s "papa", and most of all my mother. Everyone loses their mother eventually, but nothing prepared me for the tremendous void I feel. I have started to call her several times a day to explain how I feel or tell her about all of my responsibilities, but she is not there to pick up the phone. I am so sad. She will live in my broken heart as long as I live.

Thank you for being such a special Mom. Thanks for enjoying our our families, and sharing the love that only a mother can give. We will celebrate you today, the sun is shining, we will be sad, but we will be smiling with all memories you have left with each of us!
