CARLA PARKER Obituary

Dear Alan and family,

I was so saddened to learn of the passing of Carla, but because of our Hope, know that she is now in the very presence of our Lord. I can just see her dancing away with flags and fabrics twirling, with a smile on her face. May the Lord comfort you and your family, and us all, as we mourn our loss on "this side." I will always remember her and her encouraging words. Sending much love and prayers to you and yours.

It was always a pleasure to talk with Carla on our walks. She was such a beautiful and kind person and will be missed by all in the neighborhood. Our condolences go out to you and your family. Cathy and Bob Greenberg, Commodore Pt.

Powell has just informed me of the news about Carla, and I wanted to send my sincerest condolences to you and your family. I know we have just recently gotten to know each other as neighbors, but in that time I really enjoyed the conversations with you and Carla, and feel it was a blessing to have known her for that short time. Dear Alan, Emily and Joe,

Our precious treasure is now totally free to worship in the presence of God. How delighted He must be as He gazes upon her. The light, love, encouragement and inspiration of her life here on earth is a great model for us to pursue. Carla's very being exuded humility, kindness, goodness, generosity and selflessness to each person she encountered. She chose her words of life and encouragement wisely.

What a privilege for me to have experienced her beautiful, priceless friendship. I love each of you and want to be a support to you in the days to come.

We are saddened by the loss of this dear lady. Her yellow flowers have made us happy for many winters.

To Carla's family....I know that this must be a very difficult time and how sad you and all of us are to lose such a loving, beautiful and supportive light to everyone she knew. May her precious memories be for a blessing. Love and Peace, Fay

Our Carla has stepped across the space between Heaven and earth and now dances in worship in the presence of God as she waits for us to join her...the beauty of her generous and shining light on earth has been a gift to all of us who love her so dearly. I always told her she reminded me of Sarayu (the beautiful Holy Spirit Character) in Paul Young's book "The Shack"!!) We are so SAD to loose such a wonderful neighbor, friend and lady. Carla always was radiant with the light of Gods Spirit always shining brightly through her. Always full of Joy, a blessing to those who knew her. We will greatly miss her as we often chatted often times while doing her yard work. We love her, will miss her and Pray comfort for Alan, Joseph and rest of her family. She so,so loved the Lord, her place in Heaven is certain, she brings our Fathers eternal Kingdom that radiant spirit and smile we will so miss!

Alan, Emily, and Jody - I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Carla so much. I will always cherish our phone conversations. She was always so sweet to me and before we hung up, she would tell me she loved me. I never knew her to have an unkind word to say about anyone. The angels in Heaven rejoiced when she came home. Even though we are so sad to lose you I am so excited that our Lord has the pleasure of having you with him. I can almost see his big grin at Finally having his Carla with him.

Alan and Family, I'll always remember Carla's smiling eyes and hugs when she came to our UT office. She loved her Family so much; and was quite versatile with talent.
