Carl Cummings Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Mr. Carl Edward Cummings, age 52, husband of Bianca Ruiz-Cummings, of 741 Cherry Drive, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM, Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 100 Cornerstone Drive, Aiken, SC 29801
Carl was a native of Aiken, SC, the son of James and Grace Cummings. He was a 1982 graduate of South Aiken High School and went onto Broadcasting School in Ohio. Later he became a photojournalist with Channel 6 News and Channel 12 news. Carl also later became an employee with the City of Aiken/Best Friends Express.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Cummings, while leaving to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Bianca Ruiz-Cummings; his mother, Grace Cummings; his daughter, Alejandra Ruiz-Cummings; sister, Regina Cummings; brothers, Anthony Cummings, Orlando, FL and Randy Cummings, Pochahontas, Virginia; his mother-in-law, Bernarda Tellez; eight nephews and one niece.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 at the Funeral Home.
