C.J. LEACH Obituary

LEACH, C. J. - age 72, of Speedwell, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014. A member and deacon of Community Missionary Baptist Church of Speedwell. He loved farming and was a real mentor to young people. He was most known for his love to help others, not only his neighbors, but everyone. Survivors: wife, Jean Richardson Leach; daughters, Terina and husband Tony Brown, Kim and husband Roger Miller, Starla Berry and Jerry Goins, all of LaFollette, Tonya Suttles, Speedwell; grandsons, Dustin Berry, LaFollette, Matthew Vandeventer, Lebanon, Oh; granddaughters: Paige Suttles, Nikki Suttles, both of Speedwell; sisters, Ruby Carroll and Fayetta Tolliver, Speedwell; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services 8:00 p.m. Friday, Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Eddie Hoskins and Rev. Sonny Miller officiating. Interment, 12:00 noon Saturday, Johnson-Leach Cemetery. Pallbearers: Gordon Sweat, D. J. Tolliver, Tad Russell, Ty Russell, Mike Suttles, Jeff Tolliver, Bradley Carroll, Buddy Bean, Ronnie Hill.
