Dr. Brice E. Vickery
Aiken - DR. BRICE E. VICKERY, 92, husband of the late Marilyn Kennedy Vickery, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Bronx, NY, Dr. Vickery was a son of the late Ralph and Linda Yarvote Vickery. He served in a submarine squadron in the Navy during World War II. He was a graduate of Lincoln Chiropractic College and began his practice in 1952 in Connecticut. He studied at the International College of Chiropractic under Dr. George Goodheart and was certified in Applied Kinesiology. He included raw vegetable juices, supplements, and diet in practice. Dr. Vickery holds patents in USA, and has patents pending in Europe and UK, for the formulation of amino acids to treat back pain and fibromyalgia. Dr. Vickery established unheard of success dealing with back pain and later fibromyalgia. The Vickery Fibromyalgia Protocol has been demonstrated on hundreds of cures of this "medically incurable" condition. He was the founder and president of SuperNutrient Corporation. He retired from active practice in 1995. He has consulted and internationally.
A licensed pilot for many years he flew across the country many times in his own planes. He enjoys golf, bridge, traveling, and casinos, reading fiction and scientific literature.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge #5 in Stamford, CT.
Survivors include a daughter, Laura Vickery, Aiken; two sons, Harold Randolf Vickery, Vermont, Brett Lowe Vickery, Indianapolis, IN; step-daughter, Melanie Schwartz, Brookfield, CT; nine grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Dr. Vickery was preceded in death by son, Monti Vickery, Brice Jefferson Vickery and daughter, Valerie Vickery-West.
The family would like to express their gratitude to longtime employees Deborah McBurnett, Michelle Chancey and Robert McClearen for the dedication and care of Dr. Vickery.
The funeral service will be Friday morning, June 18th at 11 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Danny Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Stamford, CT.
