Ms. Brenda Kaye Preston Black
North Augusta - Ms. Brenda Kaye Preston Black, 58, of North Augusta, SC, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. A resident of Edgefield County, SC, for the past 5 years after moving from Alabama, she was a daughter to Wilma Faye Burnette Preston and the late James Edward Preston. Mrs. Black was a member of Graniteville Church of God. She enjoyed cleaning, spending time with family, music especially Elvis, bingo, dancing, singing, crafts, and enjoyed traveling. In addition to her parents, family members include her children, Brenda Marie Davis Driggers and her husband, Wayne, Rebecca Anne Cooper and her husband, the late Roy Andrew Cooper Jr., the late Marjorie Lorraine Rushton and her husband, Mark, and Jennifer Lynn Davis and her significant other, Stephen Morris, siblings, Sue Graham and her husband, Freddy, Judy Southerland and her husband, Ray, the late Paul Preston, and Lisa Preston, 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will greet friends on Friday, July 20, 2018, from 6 to 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 3 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Interment will follow in the Historic Graniteville Cemetery, Grantieville, SC. Visit www.HatcherFuneralHome.com to leave a message of condolence for the family.
