Bonnie Vowell Obituary
BEECH ISLAND, SC - Funeral Services for Mrs. Bonnie Vowell, 87, who entered into rest May 12, 2014, will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Dr. Mark Riser officiating. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Vowell was a native of Mississippi, having made Beech Island her home for the past 62 years. She was a member of Matlock Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher and a member of Young at Hearts. Mrs. Vowell retired from Emerson Electric and was a also a hair dresser.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Dennis Vowell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Neil Byrnes, Summerville, SC and Sharron and Wayne Boyce, Belvedere, SC; four grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 until 8.
