Billy Joe Lunsford, Sr.
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Funeral Services for Mr. Billy Joe Lunsford, Sr., 83, of Ambassador Drive, Bel-Clear Heights, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest November 13, 2015, will be conducted Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mr. Lunsford was a native of Laurens, South Carolina, having made North Augusta his home for the past 46 years. He was a graduate of Furman University and a retired Accountant with Bob Richards Chevrolet. Mr. Lunsford was the husband of the late Helen S. Lunsford. He was a Mason and enjoyed bowling and billiards.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Kathy Lunsford, Clearwater; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Larry Lesser and Tina and Terry Sikes all of North Augusta; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Sunday afternoon from 4 until 6.
