Billy Brooks Obituary

Mr. Billy Joe Brooks, 70, of Aiken, SC, husband of the late Ramona Dee Oldham Brooks, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Born in Guilford County, NC, son of the late William Levi and Gladys Thelma Welborn Brooks, lived in Greensboro, NC with his family prior to relocating to Aiken County, SC, in 1998. A talented Auto Mechanic, Billy always took pride in his work. Billy could fix just about anything. Among other things, Billy will be remembered for his ability to bring smiles and laughter to those who were around him. Billy is loved, missed, and his memory will always remain in the hearts of his children, Amy Michelle (Joan) Nunez and Aaron (Amber) Brooks, beloved grandchildren, Camren Schofield, Carsen Schofield, Andrez Nunez, Kaidynce Brooks, and Kimberlyn Brooks, as well as other relatives and friends. Along with his wife and parents, Billy was preceded in death by siblings, Susan, Bobby, Polly and, Walter Brooks. A memorial to honor and celebrate the life of Billy Joe Brooks will be held at a later date. Memorials in memory of Billy may be made to ACTS.
