Beverly Ann Redd
Windsor - Beverly Ann McCollum Redd, 68, beloved wife of Norman M. Redd, Jr., passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 31, 2022 at her residence.
Beverly was born on September 14, 1954 in Orangeburg, SC, a daughter of the late Harry E. & Helen Gleaton McCollum. Mrs. Redd was a retired retail manager. She loved the Wizard of Oz and was of the Baptist Faith. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mama and nana.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa & B.J. Pilz of North Augusta; 3 sisters, Debbie (Charles) Vermillion of Aiken, Sharon Ford of New Ellenton & Adrina (Randy) Owens of Aiken; 2 brothers, Gene (Sandy) McCollum of Windsor & Tommy (Pam) McCollum of Aiken, Grandchildren, Lexi & Cameron Lenarz of Aiken, Payton Pilz & Jordan Pilz both of North Augusta.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was pre-deceased by a brother, Donnie McCollum.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the Historic George Funeral Chapel with the Rev. K. Scott Ayers officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery & Mausoleum, 4524 Whiskey Road, Aiken, SC 29803.
For those unable to attend in person, the funeral along with the entombment service will be livestreamed on the official George Funeral Home & Cremation Center Face Book page (Facebook.com/GFHCC) beginning at 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649.6234.
Pallbearers are as follows and are asked to meet at the funeral home no later than 2:45 pm on Thursday, Robert Vermillion, Brandon Ford, Logan Ford, Patrick Taylor, Michael Taylor and B.J. Pilz. Honorary Pallbearer will be Hiram Redd.
