Betty Timmerman Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Betty Jean Timmerman, 71, beloved wife of Bobby Timmerman, died peacefully Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her residence.
A native and life-long resident of Aiken, Betty was a daughter of Lorie Hite Powell Storey and the late Milledge Powell. She was a hairdresser and worked with her daughter at O'Haira's Hair & Nail Studio. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Betty loved working in her yard and taking care of others.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Bobby, her mother, Lorie Storey, Aiken; two daughters, Bobbi Hyde (Keith), Aiken, Kimberly Kirkendohl (Sam), Graniteville; four grandchildren, Lindsey Fincher (fiance; Mark McFall), Aaron Fincher (Kelly), Davis Kirkendohl, Kellen Kirkendohl; brother, Robert Powell (Susan), Graniteville.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Friday morning at 11 o'clock at Bethel Baptist Church with The Rev. Brancie Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Aaron Fincher, Mark McFall, Danny Zielinski, Sam Kirkendohl, Keith Hyde, Ryan Hyde.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Bethel Baptist Church, 1127 Bethel Church Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.

-God bless each one of you. He has certainly been present with your family through Betty. She was a selfless caring and loving mother, sister, grandmother, daughter, wife and friend. she will be greatly missed. I enjoyed having her in the Christ's Messengers Sunday School class for so many years. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
